14711-z4h-860 Genuine Honda GX120 UT3 Only Quarter midget Intake Valve.
This is a Honda 120 UT3 only part. When the version of the engine changed from the UT2 to the UT3 the size of the intake valve increased. This increase in air flow is one of the reasons the UT3 is faster than the UT2.
These can get bent when the valve spring is removed and the valve drops into the engine and the engine is turned over causing the piston to hit the valve and bend it. When changing valve springs remember to bright the engine to top dead center on the compression stroke so the piston will hold the valve in its place so you can remove the retainer. We also have a video on you tube on how to change the valve springs.
Tech Tip: you want the intake to be snappy and the exhaust to be lazy so when replacing valve springs always replace the intake spring and move the intake spring over to the exhaust side and discard the old exhaust spring. This is a great routine for the best engine performance - and don't forget to use the 140 valve springs.
