EC1624046F Quarter Midget Animal Carburetor Restrictor Plate Gasket.

For the animal engine in quarter midget racing this is the gasket that goes on both sides of the restrictor plate. This is the only legal gasket.

• For restrictor plate classes, a gasket is on both sides of the restrictor plate.
• Effective January 1, 2024, the only legal restrictor plate gaskets will be:
  • Cometic part number EC1624046F
  • JC Specialties part number 23434000 - (this gasket is not available anywhere).

CARBURETOR AND INTAKE MANIFOLD

1. Carburetor / restrictor plate gaskets - Below is a listing of the proper use of a gasket or no gasket for the 3 Animal classes. However as another option but not recommended we do allow a gasket on both sides of the restrictor plate for the restrictor plate classes and one gasket between the intake manifold and the carburetor for the unrestricted Hvy Animal class. Also for clarification there must always be the O-ring in place in the carburetor mounting face groove for all 3 Animal classes. See 2023 Animal Tech Manual for proper gasket part numbers. Note - Effective 1/1/24, the only legal restrictor plate gaskets will be the Cometic part number EC1624046F and JC Specialties part number 23434000.
2. Jr Animal - One gasket between the intake manifold and the restrictor plate and no gasket between the restrictor plate and the carburetor..
3. Sr Animal - One gasket between the intake manifold and the restrictor plate and no gasket between the restrictor plate and the carburetor.
4. Hvy Animal ( Unrestricted ) - No gasket between the intake manifold and the carburetor. 

These specifications ensure compliance with the technical rules for the Jr and Sr Animal classes in quarter midget racing.
